During our annual team trip, we paid a visit to our 4th school in Choloma! The Debbie Kakanas School was built in 2017 and currently has over 150 students. The team had a blast meeting the students, teachers and community members, and even participating in some celebratory dancing!

An exciting ribbon cutting ceremony for our 23rd School Blanca Jeannette Kawas in Choloma! Over 200 students from 1st-6th grade will attend this new school. Special thank you to PLIHSA for their partnership on the construction of this educational center.

We are so thrilled with the amazing success of our Cocktails with a View event held on May 28, 2024! It was a wonderful evening re-connecting with so many of our supporters and welcoming many new faces to FEIH. Congratulations to our honorees, and special thank you to our event chair, Doug Wallach for contributing to the success of this event!

School #22 Escuela Lic. Marina Yolanda Meléndez in the community of Getsemaní, Agua blanca sur in El Progreso, Yoro welcomes over 140 students! Completed in late 2023, this school has 7 classrooms with students in 1st – 6th grade. This school was renovated/constructed in honor of our Board Member, Felicia Greenfield’s late Aunt Ronnee Sass.

School #21 is in CEB Policarpo Paz García in Trojes, El Paraíso and welcomes over 130 students! Completed in 2023, this school has 6 classrooms and hosts students in grades 1st – 9th.

Our 4th Annual Copa FEIH soccer tournament held in June 2023.

Ribbon cutting event for school #20 CEB Policarpo Paz García located in the community El Sile, San Francisco del Valle, Ocotepeque. This school has 6 classrooms with 153 students from 1st to 9th grade!

Ribbon cutting for the Centro Básico Marcó Aurelio Soto is complete! Located in the community of El Transitó, San Jeromimo, Copan, this school will host more than 117 students from 1st to 6th grade with 6 classrooms and 4 bathrooms. Several of our youth ambassadors...
